Sandstone Success
Again this year, our parents can be very proud of a job well done! Saturday night, March 1, the ground floor of Sacred Heart was transformed into a sophisticated and festive atmosphere for the second annual Sandstone party. For the purchase of a Spirit of SHA raffle ticket, adults were invited to join in the fun and celebrate the community of Sacred Heart.
Several of our seniors, dressed in tuxs with pink bowties, graciously passed culinary delights to the crowd of nearly 600 parents, alumna and friends. Other talented students showcased their abilities through music and song. A few teachers also provided some of the evening’s entertainment.
Art students contributed their talents in the form of auction items. Over 120 basket and auction items added to the festivities of the evening. The funds raised by the various activities of the evening will help to purchase additional interactive Smartboards for the school.
Sacred Heart is thankful to everyone who shared time and talents to make this event another booming success. We look forward to the tradition of Sandstone lasting long into the future.
See you next year! Elise Savattieri nd Nancy Calabrese Mule '78 Sandstone '08 Co-chairs
