- The 87 members of the Class of 2006 were offered $6.5 million in academic scholarships with one National Merit Finalist and two Commended Students.
- 17 SHA Seniors were part of SHA’s Career Internship Program in 2006-2007. Past internship placements include Erdman Anthony Engineering, Roswell Park Immunology Laboratory, Greater Buffalo Savings Bank, Lancaster Opera House, University of Buffalo Orthopedics Department, and the Office of Assemblyman Jim Hayes.
- SHA offers 11 Advanced Placement courses.
- SHA offers 16 team and club level sports to ensure student involvement and physical well-being. During the 2005-2006 season, the varsity and junior varsity basketball teams, along with softball, and indoor and outdoor track teams, were the Monsignor Martin League champions in their respective sports.
- The Learning Center is a full service resource center. Students conduct independent study, prepare for PSAT and SAT tests, and receive tutoring and enrichment from SHA faculty.
- A required four-year Leadership Studies Program that focuses on building values and skills that our students will need as they evolve into women who will serve as role models to their peers, families, and the community at large.
- Footprints Service Program: A school-wide program that builds a life-long commitment to serving others. All SHA students provide significant Christian service during their four years at Sacred Heart. The annual Day of SHAring is the culmination of service. In April 2006, 500 plus members of the school community served at 36 sites throughout Western New York.
- Courses offered collaboratively with area colleges: UB Math, Canisius College Statistics, Daemen College - Entrepreneurship and Digital Art I and II.
- Over 25% of current students receive private or group music instruction including voice classes, several music electives, and individual and group string, wind and percussion and guitar lessons. Performance groups include Chamber Singers, Concert Band, Flute Ensemble, and Strings Ensemble.
- For three consecutive years, the Sacred Heart Mock Trial team has won the Erie County Mock Trial Tournament, and for the past two years has won the title of Regional Champion in the Western Region Mock Trial Tournament. Both years, Sacred Heart Academy was one of the top six teams in New York State to compete in the Statewide Mock Trial Tournament held in Albany. SHA students were awarded second place in the 2005 New York State Mock Trial Tournament.
