State Requirements & Assessments
Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart follows the New York State
requirements for a Regents diploma and offers sequences in the
following areas of study: English, fine arts, languages other
than English, mathematics, social sciences, and science. Regents’
requirements also include physical education, and health.
Students at Sacred Heart Academy are required to enroll in
and successfully complete all New York State Regents courses
and examinations. Student academic performance also is measured
using other assessment tools such as portfolios, projects,
school examinations, performance juries (music classes), cooperative
learning ventures, and performance assessments.
