If you haven't already done so, please register to take the exam at Sacred Heart Academy by submitting the Catholic High School application found here. We welcome walk-ins.
A few important reminders:
Students should arrive at Sacred Heart between 8:15 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Please park in either the Clare Hall lot (at the corner of Main St. & Maynard Dr), the back lot (enter the driveway via Main St. and follow around to the back of the building) or in front of the school. Look for student volunteers to direct you inside!
The exam lasts approximately three hours and 15 minutes so your daughter will be ready for pick up approximately three hours and 15 minutes from her drop off time. Dismissal will be at side entrance closest to Main St & Maynard Dr.
Calculators are allowed for the exam. The type, functionality or brand does not matter. All she really needs is a simple, four-function one. We will have extras in case she forgets one. Cell phones and Apple watches must be turned off. We will supply pencils. She may bring a water bottle.
The cost for the Entrance Exam is $25.00 which is to be pre-paid through your Parent Portal. We will also accept cash or a check the morning of the exam (made payable to Sacred Heart Academy).
Please join us in the cafeteria for a Parent Coffee immediately after you drop off your daughter on the morning of the exam. Grab a cup of coffee and meet current parents as well as Jennifer Demert, Head of School and Michele Calandra, Director of Academics.
If your daughter is unable to take the exam on November 23 due to illness or an unavoidable conflict, the alternate test date is Friday, December 6 at 9:00 a.m. Follow-up information will be emailed to all families who are not at the 11/23 exam.
Acceptance letters, test results and announcements of scholarships and financial aid awards will be mailed on January 23, 2025.
